Cathy Cowin is the author of the Peacemaking Workbook pdf files. Cathy Cowin graduated from CSU-Fresno with a B.S. in Business Administration with an option in Computer Applications & Systems. She then went on to earn her M.B.A. with a course emphasis in Organizational Psychology from CSU-Fresno and a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law. Cathy has taught Evidence, Legal Research & Writing, and Civil Procedure classes for Sawyer College, a paralegal school in the Bay Area and has guest lectured for the California School of Professional Psychology. Cathy has been a practicing business litigation attorney since 1990 and has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Cathy has provided editing comments to Dr. Paul Hersey, author of "Situational Leadership" and co-author of "Management of Organizational Behavior", concerning his recent book "Situational Parenting". Cathy is a certified mediator and currently serves as a mediator on the panel for the Superior Court of the State of California, Fresno County. Cathy has developed a workshop on negotiating strategies as well as various materials concerning Conflict Resolution and Mediation Skills.
